CRIF Credit Bureau has been present in Bahamas since 2020, with the objective of providing a credit bureau system that safeguards credit, prevents insolvency risk and facilitates quicker access to credit. However, what is the role of the Credit Bureau in the Bahamas? And most importantly, what are the benefits of the Credit Bureau for consumers?

To answer these and many more questions, our colleague Marisa Nixon (Sales Manager CRIF Bahamas) and our educational outreach support Schell Stubbs (instrumental in putting the framework in place for CRIF Bahamas) have attended a new educational awareness virtual forum together with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. On June 16th, under the title 'Target 3: Building your economic legacy', CRIF has been virtually discussing the role of the credit bureau and its impact on your credit score.
